How exciting! The ongoing debate about the strongest conference will continue even if no team from the SEC, Big Ten, or Pac-10 is in the national championship game. College football should always have room for a Cinderella. Let's hope your Vols get to wear the glass slipper this weekend! We were thinking about you as we made turkey sandwiches while glued to the TV. They're up, they're down, they're back up, can hold it, no, yes .... wow! of course, Cal broke our hearts, but we're used to it, and love 'em all the more for blowing it with some style this year. It seems like scholarship limits are finally having their intended effect, and we're diggin it. and I like the idea of a duel between LT and BC ... swords, I assume? what a wild fun season and what a great game the other day! The LSU Tigers have been playing on the edge all season. We only looked like Monster Killers in the first month of the season. Florida, Auburn and Alabama ALMOST beat LSU but we escaped with a little luck and some last second heroics. Fate ensured that our nail biting victories would eventually catch up with us. We were stopped in two TRIPLE OT games against Kentucky and Arkansas. That's FIVE very close and great for ratings football games that could have gone either way. So... I don't think we are truly stunned to see the LSU Tigers lose two games this season. I am not. You know... a friend of mine in New Orleans wanted us to go to Atlanta and have a duel at Swinging Richards. It is a gay strip club. They wanted to see that LARGETONY VS. BRETTCAJUN battle. But, I sadly put all my eggs in one basket and applied only for the BCS National Championship tickets. But that would have been quite the contest! ;) So... our battle will have to take place by our favorite teams on Saturday: Tennessee Vols versus the LSU Tigers in the Georgia Dome!
