Okay, while it may be the attorney who's getting you to do things to improve your body, ultimately, people may claim to trade in the older model for the younger one based on appearance, but there's more there to it than just looks. Looks comprise a small amount of why people end up cheating. At least you admit to your fear. That's the first step. Don't act out of trying to keep him...that's how you'll "lose" him. Choose each other. There's no guarantee for you, him or anyone. And if he starts to "stray" (rightfully, though, if y'all aren't a couple, you can't call it cheating/straying if y'all are just having "fun"), it's on him. Not you. And I don't think improving yourself is vanity. Okay, it is to a point (part of my motivation for getting in shape and staying with it is vanity - I want to look good for certain events throughout the year, but more importantly, my health and overall good feelings are a bigger part of it. I always told you that you have abs. Now I'm glad to see that you have more than the 1.5 you claimed to have before. ;-) Sigh.
