I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. (Oh, and don't feel bad about not blogging constantly.... it makes the posts more meaningful and worth reading!)
Really though, the weather is what makes November the most frustrating (of course, when you live in Ohio like I do, the weather all through the year makes you want to pull out your hair and run screaming through the streets!) And then there's the wonderful world of retail that forces Christmas in our faces before Halloween is even upon us...
But there are some posixitive parts of November. The fall foilage hits its height (briefly before the rain washes it all away to skeletal remains... wow, I'm so cheerful!) The cooler weather is better for cuddling (provided you're not dating a psychopath or unemotional robot)... and as you said, there's Christmas right around the corner.
Well, not that I seem like such an optimist (note the sarcasm) I think I'll hush and go back in my corner...

I have no problem with November, but I DO prefer December. Mostly because that means it's the start of WINTER - my favorite season!

It's definately SAD (Seasonally Affected Disorder). Even in the metro-Phoenix area where it is 85-degrees with clear blue skies all day, I am affected by SAD. It's the darkness in the morning and early evening plus the cooler temperatures that sends me inside and in a junk. You just need to find someone to spend the darkness with. I am sure something will come up. ;-)

Anyways, enjoy your Thanksgiving. November is almost over.

November funk. I’ve got an unhealthy dose of it myself; mostly because of unpleasantness that long ago I said ‘goodbye’ to but never quite left behind. Roll on December.

Well it's SAD isn't it?
Seasonally Affected Disorder. Getting up in the dark, going home in the dark - at least we don't live in Scandinavia where they have almost no daytime at all. Imagine.
I've ordered my Christmas Tree which is always delivered by sturdy young men in kilts...
At least there's something to look forward to...

November always seems like a kind of nesting month for me, a month to prepare for winter... to stack firewood, and put an extra blanket on the bed. The house sort of wraps around me, and I want to cuddle by the fire.
