One of my great aunts would always worry about my being single when the cold weather was coming.
"I just don't like the idea of you sleeping all alone on a cold night. You should have some honey to snuggle up to!"
Your granny's probably just thinking about companionship.
I can't say I'm crazy about football, but as for the other criteria...or is that citerion?

How funny ...I met a church organist and music teacher at a Halloween party on Saturday evening, and he said 99% of all men in his profession are gay. I love, love, love the expression "a little sugar in his tank"! Your Granny is a sweetheart.

Happy Halloween, Tony.

As always, I got a laugh. But the, "a little sugar in his tank" is new to me. Is that a common southern term and if so, is it derrogatory or more of a "bless his heart" kind of term? Do African Americans have brown sugar in their tank?

I know you prefer college but like Payton... how about the Colts!! Now only the 2nd team (since GBP in the 20s) to have such a trend.
If only they weren't playing the Pats next week.

Tony,

I think your Granny would like me too!
I can't play the organ, but I can hum a right good tune.
And Yes, I'm sweet to boot.
Prove it?

I don't know Tony, but I think it is all very sweet of her. I just hope you have a pleasant evening and make a new friend. (And if more happens you'd better damn well let us know about it pronto!!!)

God Bless your Granny! Of course she knows. She is also telling you she could care less and loves you just the way you are.

When I came out, ages ago it seems now and after surviving the battle w/my father, I stayed w/my grandmother one summer to help take care of her. She sat me right down, told me she had alwas known "my demeanor was different" as she put it. She told me "God in his wisdom made you this way for a reason, and who am I to question that?"

When she died, she gave me an equal cut of her will (Not that she had much) But it pissed off all my Aunts/Uncles as well as my father at the time.
