Howdy Governor.

Feline mignon? I shudder to think what you might do with
a fat 'possum...HaHaHa.

Pussachusetts? And you wonder why we love your
banged-up body.

Kittycat Smoothie? Maybe you could open up a
roadside stand? HaHaHa

You're Awesome.

Can't always have something to say. But for me, I kinda am in the opposite mode. I have plenty to say after my first Pride experience in Orlando this last weekend. I merely don't have the time to write, given the start of mhy internship and my evening ART History class.

Anyhow, something will get you jump started sooner or later.

Yay for candid shots and haircuts. Sorry to hear about your temporary cat. I work in Safety now, so did you report it? This is a reportable incident and recordable. If you don't report it you're not helping your company fully capture all safety incidents. Even though it was a near miss, it still is....blah dee blah. Did you go to the doctor? Glad you're healing.

I did somethin stupid two years ago. I was out in front of our house on a ladder hanging christmas lights and I hadn't chocked up the bottom of the ladder(our roof line is very steep - English cottage). Well, you guessed it........I'm at the top of the ladder as it starts sliding out from under me. What do I do? I try racing down it as fast as I can. I hung on through the first bounce of the ladder, the second bounce sends one leg through the rungs and the other on the outside of the ladder. Tlak about a bruised set. Not to mention the scrape from the rung from the top of my foot to the knee.

No, I haven't hung any lights since.............

Tony, what a good post. It reminded me of this story.

Sorry you got injured!

Oh no! You fell. Was it a lost time accident (were you out of work the next day)? As an ex-safety person, I am just curious. No broken bones? Assuming not, thank goodness you are young or they could have been broken. Did you go to the ER?

Something similar happened to me. Hubby and I were had demolished a brick fireplace in our house and were tossing the bricks off of the porch and down about ten feet onto the lawn below. Hubs had just told me to be careful as the railing was not stable and so what did I do? You guessed it. As I tossed my next armload of bricks off, my wieght and the bricks' combined went into the railing and it gave way. Thank god I was close to the post. I let go of the bricks and grabbed the post with one hand and as I swung around the post and slid down, I grabbed the adjacent railing with the other hand. As my body swung around, I hit my knees on the porch flooring. Ouch! So there I hung as hubs raced out of the house and grabbed my wrists and said, "I've got you!". But, I extended my toes and I was on the ground. We replaced that rail and now we have one rail we are sure is solid.

I didn't go to the ER. I might have if it had happened on the job though because of liabilities. Your injuries are probably worse. You might have fallen from higher up than I did. Can't wait until the Vols play again!
