An Angel In Fox’s Clothing

You know how in stories and fables, the Fox is always portrayed as either greedy, conniving, vain, untrustworthy, or some combination? And generally the moral is some equivalent of “don’t be like the Fox.” I guess in stories and fables that’s true. But sometimes in real life, we can only hope to be like the Fox.

Particulary if it’s a Chad Fox.

While I have sometimes linked to other blogs in posts, and certainly display a healthy blog roll, I don’t think I have ever suggested you read a specific post of someone’s. But I not only suggest, I urge…no, I insist that you read Chad Fox’s recent entry, The Cannibalistic Ghetto. It’s one of the most beautiful things I have ever read.

In a modern world where even borrowing a cup of sugar comes with strings attached, it’s refreshing to see that goodness can happen simply because it should.

Yeah, I read that yesterday. ChadFox is a wonderful aned sincere guy. Although he lives in California, he is from Ohio. Maybe that says something. Thanks for directing us to read more of him.

Beautiful story, thanks for connecting me to it, love how blogs allow anyone to share the events of their lives, even the little things that seem matter of fact and sometimes might not even feel worth sharing, yet they have such a far reaching impact and touch so many lives.

i think maybe it’s raining a bit too much there in TN. and people are getting depressed and gloomy. Not everything or everyone has strings attached. Beleive it or not, i think there are still some genuine people out there. Whats with all the sap? Now im getting all nostalgic and wishing for simpler days. THANKS ALOT! :-) Oh wait, it’s been raining here in CT. for 8days straight. ….Maybe i’m the one missing something or feeling nostalgic.

I was actually pointed to your blog from ChadFox’s… he is one of the most interesting, sincere people I’ve had the chance to read about. I would encourage people to check in on his blog from time to time. I’m hooked! I’m glad that I’ve also got a chance to read your blog. Great stuff… keep it up.
