Quite a few days late and many dollars short -- I can't believe I missed this post!! Quite good indeed!

What is the essence of God? I think He's a regular old bloke who likes to have a beer and a good chat and just get to know us. And for us to get to know Him. He probably likes a game of pool too.

I think most importantly, He wants for us to take time to forgive, listen to, and understand each other. Forgive grudges and misunderstandings, and learn to love without condition. Otherwise, why would he arrange for chance meetings on some dumb social internet site for a guy from Missouri to a guy from Tennessee?

Mysterious ways indeed.

Enjoyed the article.

The sum total, all in all, from beginning to end for me "Just" IS.
Thanks for making my research on hypothalmus much more enJOYable.
Glad Jesus lived and died...died and lived.
I hope one day someone will say that about me.

Man was created in the "image" of God, not the "imagine." Physically, Mentally, Emotionaly, Spiritually, like God. Male AND Female created in the image of God. It was only after He created Eve that God after that last signal portion of creation said, "It is VERY Good." After showing Adam, as he named them, that all the animals had companions and that he had none; then Adam was put into a deep sleep and Eve taken from one of his ribs became his wife to complete the creation. They two were one, so that together they reflected their Creator. Together they were the image of God. Male & Female and told to multiply, procreate. Hardly a "gay" image. Gay relationlships are not "piped" right to procreate and thus could not have followed their Creator's mandate to be "fruitful and multiply."

Let me make it very clear, God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn but He gave His Son so that we might not perish. He gave to all the universe that gift to overcome what they lost iin Eden when they believed Satan's lies mixed with truth.

That "all" includes gays. And "all" have siined and come short of the glory of God. Each in his own way. Because we were born with a "natural" tendency to sin, in what ever fashion, does not make it "normal" or acceptable to God when to accept into our lifesyle either the inherited or the cultivated tendencies to sin.

What is usual is not always normal. It is usual, because of diet and lifesyle and inherited tendencies for a man of a certain age to develop an enlaraged prostate that may develop into cancer, but it is a stretch to say that it is normal.

Well, forgive me, but I have tried to be brief, but if I tell it all here you wont buy the book. Thanks if you've read this far, Jim

PS He mentioned this genetic proclivity, you could say almost promised it: "I, the Lord thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, AND showing mercy unto thousands of generations of those that love me and keep my commandments." It's in the book.
